New in the popular Sea Glass Inn series!

Trace Murphy, longtime concierge at the Sea Glass Inn, has put everyone around her on the naughty list!

The inn is full for the holidays, but no one seems to care that crimes are being committed right under all their noses. Well, no one except for the Ryan Gosling-lookalike in the Florence Suite ...

She’d never let it bother her that the inn staff seemed to, well, take her for granted. But with a looming milestone birthday, and a general sense of unease, Trace is in need of a miracle.

Will secrets and mystery ruin Trace's holiday? Or will she find joy—and new love this Christmas—at the Sea Glass Inn?

Sweet, fun, and inspirational Christmas romance

What a delightful return to the Sea Glass Inn set on the coast in California! This is a fun, sweet story set during the Christmas season. We get to see characters from the other stories in the series, but this is Trace's story. She has worked at the concierge desk at the inn for over ten years. She has a strong work ethic and always looks after guests. But she is a little down because she is approaching a milestone birthday, actually she and Jesus have the same birthday, and her divorced parents live across the country in Florida. She is feeling unloved and taken for granted by her co-workers. Then, the most gorgeous man is standing next to the check-in desk. She and Noah do get acquainted and even pretend to be dating to get one of the guys to quite teasing Trace. Noah is staying for a few weeks at the inn while working a project nearby. As they get acquainted, they find that they really do like each other. This is such a cute, funny, and sweet Christmas romance with a few bumps along the way. Noah is a swoon worthy character, and all characters seem so real and are likable. On a side note, someone is stealing items from the inn. Unusual items. What is going on there? And Trace has a decision to make concerning a job offer. Lovely ending that will have you smiling. I always enjoy Julie's sweet beachy reads and this one is another great, quick read.

Delightful, Charming, Captivating Story

This is book 5 of the Sea Glass Inn series. It is a delightful, heartwarming story perfect for the Christmas season. Although it could easily be read as a standalone I highly suggest eventually reading the other 4 books so you have the complete backstory of all of the charming, interesting cast of characters in this captivating series.

For many years Trace has worked at the concierge desk at Sea Glass Inn on the coast of California. A birthday milestone is quickly approaching right on Christmas day and she is feeling overlooked, as if nobody notices her. She is always reliable and people count on her to always be there to take care of their needs. Generally Trace is a bit feisty and isn't shy to say what she thinks or ask whatever question pops into her head. She's feeling a bit gloomy these days, however.

When an extremely handsome man checks in, Trace takes notice and eventually their paths cross when she is taking a little rest in the chapel and he comes in to measure the windows. Eventually they develop somewhat of a friendship that takes them on a crazy journey. At the Inn some unusual things are disappearing ranging from towels to table lamps. A former business partner is on a mission to become a competitor.
This is a charming, captivating story that includes mystery, humor a bit of romance as well a surprises. I couldn't put it down until the last page was turned and find myself still thinking about this heartfelt story.

I never hesitate to recommend a book by Julie Carobini. They feel warm and welcoming, just like home.
